Yay - it's finally summer in SF! If you live in or around San Francisco, you know that August, or "FOG-ust" can leave us reaching for the sweaters and wishing for more sun. Luckily September is here, bringing some of the warmest days of the year. Seriously - check this chart we found.
So let's revel in this beautiful weather and feel some tropical vibes - you have 2 chances to see us in September!
Saturday, September 10, at El Rio 4pm-8
Brazilian Party on the Patio
It's Brazil's independence day, and given all the political upheaval happening there right now, we especially want to send out our good vibes and celebrate the beauty that is Brazilian music. We'll be playing outdoors in the lovely patio of Mission bar, El Rio, with a giant mural of Carmen Miranda looking down on us. Also bringing the heat will be Sang Matiz, Batalá drummers, and samba dance company Amor do Samba - yeah - the bikini and feathers kind ;) Gringa will play at 4:30pm. You still have time to get your tix in advance and save a few dollars: BUY TICKETS
JUST ANNOUNCED! Grammy Award-winner Braulio Barrera, amazing percussionist and vocalist will be adding his fire to this El Rio show!
Friday, September 16, at The Chapel 9pm

This show at The Chapel is for the grown and sexy - Gringa will be creating a fun night with Brazilian funksters Chillaquiles and DJ Fausto Sousa, the people behind the beloved BRAZA! party series. The dancefloor is waiting for you! BUY TICKETS in advance.
